What is being built
From port jetties to 90m slips
According to industry reporting, on 22 May 2025 PT Marina Development Indonesia, with Pelindo, broke ground on Bali Benoa Marina — engineered with floating concrete pontoons by SF Marina of Sweden.
Historically, Bali Marina held boats up to around 30m, with room for two 35m yachts; anything larger relied on port-authority jetties. A dedicated 90m slip count is a different category of infrastructure.
Benoa is about 30 minutes by road from Ngurah Rai Airport; a planned flyover is expected to cut that toward five.

Why it matters
What full build-out means for day charters
A day charter is only as good as its departure point. The routes — Nusa Dua, Uluwatu, Nusa Penida, Lembongan — exist today; build-out changes the ground beneath them.

- Cleaner clearance A marina customs and immigration function should smooth long-standing friction.
- Airport link A five-minute transfer, if the flyover is delivered.

The final phase — the waterfront precinct — is targeted for Q4 2027. Berths and clearance infrastructure land earlier; dates beyond Q3 2026 may slip.
What will a 2027 superyacht day charter cost?
No published tariff exists. As of 2026, Asia Global Yachting cites Bali day charters from around USD 2,500 per day; larger Indonesian superyachts are listed at weekly rates. We quote per yacht.
Is Bali Luxury Yacht Charter the marina developer?
No. The concierge is operated by Bali Premium Trip; yachts it does not own are arranged via vetted licensed partners.
Do foreign superyachts still need a Cruising Permit?
Yes. The underlying rules still apply — Vessel Declaration, CAIT, PIB at first port and a PEB on departure — even if the marina makes the process smoother.
