Bali corporate incentive yacht day: Benoa agenda

One yacht, eight to ten hours: an 08:30 harbour welcome, lunch at anchor off Nusa Lembongan, an awards block and a sunset return by 18:00.

In short

A Benoa corporate incentive day typically runs a single yacht for eight to ten hours: an 08:30 harbour welcome, a mid-morning cruise toward the Uluwatu cliffs, a plated lunch at anchor off Nusa Lembongan, an afternoon watersports and awards block, then a sunset return by 18:00.

Why Benoa

Why build the day around Benoa

Benoa is Bali's main commercial port and primary yacht gateway, handling vessels from roughly 40m upward.

One vessel carries the meeting room, the dining room and the activity deck at once — three venues and two coach transfers collapsed into one load-in.

  • Proximity About 30 minutes by road from Ngurah Rai airport as of 2026; a reported flyover may cut it toward five.
  • Capacity Bali Benoa Marina broke ground on 22 May 2025: 180 berths, 50 superyacht slips up to 90m.
  • Day range Nusa Dua and Uluwatu for half days, Lembongan for lunch, Penida for full-day programmes.

Model arrival logistics on today’s 30 minutes until the flyover opens.

How the day runs

Planning countdown

How far ahead to lock the date

Bali’s dry season, roughly May to October, is the premium charter window and books first. Work backwards from your event.
  • 12 months out

Issue the RFP and place soft holds on the vessel.

  • 9 months out

Contract the yacht with a named-vessel clause, substitution standard and land-venue fallback.

  • 6 months out

Lock catering, branding and entertainment; confirm delegate visa and passport validity.

  • 90 days out

Draft the final manifest, dietary matrix and wet-weather plan.

  • 30 days out

Confirm final numbers, the run-of-day and a boarding-and-safety briefing.

  • Check Nyepi

Bali’s day of silence closes the harbour — verify the date before fixing the programme.

Delegates travel as tourists: 60-day tourist visa, on arrival for most nationalities, passports valid 180+ days.

The 2027 outlook

Benoa marina phasing to watch

Drawn from developer and industry announcements published 2024–2026 — an outlook, not delivered facilities. Large marina projects slip.

Q4 2025

Phase 1

Dock B with 40 berths and a welcome station.

Q3 2026

Phase 3

Yachts up to 90m, integrated customs and immigration, digital booking.

Q4 2027

Phase 4

Waterfront precinct with F&B, retail and dedicated MICE venues.

If Phase 4 opens near its window, the working session moves ashore; a two-quarter delay would push it into 2028.
